HERO SWORD-9260 Japanese Katana Sword for Men

The blade is hand-forged from 9260 spring steel, which has been hand-polished to a razor-sharp edge. It features a blood groove and a hardness of 58 on the Rockwell scale, making it combat-ready. The full-tang blade is constructed with an iron tang, ensuring stability and safety during use.

The sword is battle-ready, having undergone a rigorous heat treatment process of oil quenching, tempering, and annealing. This process has resulted in a blade with excellent hardness and high elasticity, allowing it to be bent 90 degrees without sustaining damage, easily meeting the demands of actual combat.

The high-quality copper tsuba, or hand guard, is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, adding to the sword's overall battle-readiness.

The blades are exceptionally sharp, having been hand-polished to a fine edge. They are capable of performing Tameshigiri, the traditional Japanese art of cutting, effectively slicing through bamboo, trees, and even A4 paper with a single stroke.

The sword's overall length is 103cm (40.55 inches), with a blade length of 70cm (27.56 inches) and a tsuka (handle) length of 26cm (10.24 inches). The blade width near the habaki (collar) is 3.2cm (1.26 inches), and the blade thickness near the habaki is 0.7cm (0.28 inches).

The tsuba, kashira (pommel), fuchi (collar), and menuki (ornaments) are crafted from high-quality zinc alloy, while the saya (scabbard) is made of wood with a lacquer finish and wrapped in silk sageo (cord). The tsuka is covered in ray skin and wrapped in silk ito (cord), completing the sword's elegant and traditional appearance.
